Advocacy
Our objective is to hold the institutions in the music industry accountable. The music industry has previously and continues to profit immensely off the intellectual property of Black creatives and professionals. ADVANCE is here to solidify black representation in all facets of the Canadian music business.
Mentorship
We have cultivated an environment that empowers, educates, and facilitates opportunities for emerging music industry professionals. We aim to foster a network that shares knowledge and resources to black professionals and entrepreneurs currently working in the music business.
Community Outreach
We are committed in connecting our members internally in all aspects of music and entertainment. ADVANCE is also focused on using our position of privilege within the music industry and our collective knowledge to bolster other needs and issues affecting the Black community.
